The future of sound takes root in Orlando at Hacienda Mastering and Valencia College

You don’t have to be in the music industry to appreciate great sound. You know it when you hear it. If you’re an audiophile (hi-fi enthusiast), you’ve already encountered Dolby Atmos – a music technology imported from the film industry.

Only two Orlando entities have tackled producing this kind of music, and we’ll get into that. But first, a primer.

Stereo sound gives you two channels: left and right. Atmos gives you 128: that’s surround sound. It’s immersive, and it’s fabulous.
