How financial deal is helping Apopka firm Thumbprint grow
Thumbprint, a national branding agency based in Apopka, was selling big projects to big companies like Wayfair, Chewy and Amazon, but sometimes, limited cash flow prevented the Thumbprint team from unleashing the full power of their creativity.
“When we pitch a company, we make an investment. There are situations where we build out a digital component to show the client what we can do, and that takes money,” said President Brian Gill. “Let’s say our clients’ credit terms are 60 to 90 days while our credit terms with our supplier partners are 30 days. That’s a major cash flow gap.”
The constraints of that gap might mean that a creative concept couldn’t be included in a pitch because the show and tell would be too expensive.
