Celebration a hot spot for incoming restaurants
With two new developments offering covetable first-generation spaces, Celebration is a magnet for new restaurants. The new Publix-anchored Celebration Pointe shopping plaza and mixed-use Celebration Island Village have attracted local and out-of-state chains, some choosing Celebration for their first Central Florida outposts.
This week, Jeff’s Bagel Run expanded into Celebration with a store in Celebration Pointe on Future Way — the ribbon cutting was April 25. The homegrown company that started in Jeff Perera’s kitchen in 2021 has strategically chosen its local addresses. His wife and co-founder Danielle Perera’s expertise in corporate retail is partly responsible for building a foundation so strong, the company caught the eye of Justin Wetherill, the bagel chain’s new CEO.
