Behind-the-scenes reveal of Disney's new entertainment

The Walt Disney Co., via a June media preview event, provided a peek into the new on-site entertainment rolling out at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

The theme park giant has many new additions coming online, most notably Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride at Magic Kingdom, opening on June 28. Each addition to the theme park has a chance to draw more visitation to the region from tourists excited to experience the entertainment.

Here are some of the new attractions and shows ahead:

Disney Dreams That Soar

A drone show called Disney Dreams That Soar presented by AT&T launched May 24 and will run until Sept. 2. The 800-drone show happens nightly and can be viewed from Disney Springs. The show utilizes drones to recreate Disney characters in the night sky such as Peter Pan, Wall-E and scenes from "Star Wars."
