20 acres of inland beach a big draw for new Evermore Orlando Resort
As of Jan. 1, the nearly $1 billion Evermore Orlando Resort at 1590 Evermore Way is officially open. The development has created more than 800 permanent jobs between Evermore Orlando Resort and the Conrad Orlando — a hotel on the grounds opening later in January.
Dart Interests, the resort’s Dallas-based operating company, is counting on its convenient proximity to area theme parks to draw guests in, but one feature is billed as a differentiator that stands alone.
The lagoon at the center of everything — Evermore Bay — is lined with 20 acres of beaches, something no other resort in town can claim. The pool itself is eight acres, holding 16 million gallons of water.
