Siegel's Versailles mansion to debut in months

The largest house in America will serve as a stage for saving lives, Jackie Siegel told Orlando Business Journal.

A June 6 event to honor National Naloxone Awareness Day — designated in 2023 through a bipartisan resolution led by Senators Edward Markey (D-Massachusetts) and Rick Scott (R-Florida) — will be held at Versailles, the storied 100,000-plus-square-foot Siegel family residence that has been under construction for more than 20 years in Windermere.

Siegel told OBJ for her and her husband David, founder of Westgate Resorts, June 6 is of particular importance because it is the 10-year anniversary of the death of their daughter Victoria, who lost her life as a result of acute methadone and sertraline toxicity in 2015 at age 18. Westgate Resorts is the region's largest privately held company, with $1.47 billion in 2023 revenue and 3,907 local employees, the most recent data available.
