Universal Epic Universe unveils immersive lands, cutting-edge attractions ahead of May opening

The excitement at Universal Orlando Resort's Epic Universe’s Chronos entry portal is palpable, as guests turn around en masse to take selfies with the grand structure rising behind them. The new theme park’s April 5 media preview brought out the childlike delight in reporters and industry bloggers who at other times might scrutinize their subjects in great detail. 

Members of the media were grouped into clusters with VIP tour guides guiding them through the park — which opens to the public May 22 — skipping all the lines and hearing details about the architecture, attractions and lore associated with each of the five lands: Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe and Super Nintendo World.
