Two restaurant franchises chose Celebration for their first Central Florida outposts

A pair of new fast-casual eateries have debuted just south of Walt Disney World.

Most notable, both new restaurants are firsts for Central Florida — showing the region still is enticing for new brands seeking to break into the market.

Here's more about the new restaurants:

Fatburger

Franchisee Whole Factor Inc. of Melbourne opened Central Florida's first Fatburger at 1713 Future Way on Feb. 22.

The 2,400-square-foot burger joint is known for its customizable burgers. Patrons can add toppings like chili, eggs and onion rings, and dairy-free cheese and gluten-free buns also are available. Fatburger also offers meatless patties, turkey patties and chicken sandwiches.

The new eatery boasts 56 interior seats with 12 to 16 patio seats coming soon. Fatburger in Celebration has about 25 full-time employees and another 25 part-time workers.

The brand's parent company Fat Brands (NASDAQ: FAT) signed franchise agreements for the Orlando market with Whole Factor in 2022, according to a Verdict Food Service news release. The Celebration eatery is the first of 10 that will open in the area over the next six years, according to the release.
